Handling kitchen waste

Handling of kitchen waste is yet another considerable investment in technology and environment. This includes grinding all kitchen waste and sucking it into a 1000 litre tank in the basement. The tank is emptied and taken to a biogas plant in Ringsted where the waste is converted into biogas.

The residual waste is used for agricultural fertilizers which again reduces the farming consumption of artificial fertilizers.
