Groundwater cooling

We have built the first groundwater-based cooling and heating system in Denmark.

With this unique system, Copenhagen Towers takes up groundwater 110 metres below the surface of the earth and uses it to cool the hotel in the summertime, hides it underground to reuse it for heating the hotel in the wintertime. This way, the energy-consumption for cooling and heating is reduced by almost 90 per cent.
